Graf #9

I’m more nervous about the classification essay then I was the cause essay. I’m not a natural sorter and maybe I like things mixed more together but I will give it my best shot. I really thought the snakes, snails, and puppy dog tails was funny. I could relate to the 3 types of fans and had the unfortunate experience of living with one once and I could really hear her voice and commiserate with her pain. I was a fan of the fish story because I really felt a connection and he kept you interested you were little hooked to see what was on the end of that line. I was ready faster to get to the end hoping for a salmon. I have been a telemarketer and understand the horror and I loved it when people asked me for my home number because I knew they would call me. I always gave them a number for the local anger management center. The description was good and you could easily follow the action is she moved through the lists of contacts. I thought giving the bugs a life of their own gave the piece humor and it was cute. I thought the dirt road was harder for me to follow as I wasn’t as hooked but maybe I just couldn’t relate personally and I’m always more drawn to something I can put in to perspective of my knowledge or world. I think the hardest thing about writing these is being true to you as a writer but writing in such a way to keep the readers interest and somehow have it apply to their own perspective on life. I’m off to classify and hopefully hook you in to my world in a way that will relate to yours.
